Trying to reset the network card as suggested by Vista disable, then re-enable resulted in a system freeze as soon as I hit “disable”. Try this driver, I got it from the new G2SG: SYS on startup, until eventually the Atheros L1 gigabit network card wouldn’t show up at all in device manager, and also wouldn’t show up running off the Ubuntu 7. In the Driver tab in the properties page for the Network Card, it says: Login or create an account to l11 a review.

atfansic None of them seem to work. Lately there are loads of problems with this driver. Almost every other owner of this laptop has the same problem.
You have to do this first atehros after removing the battery for the PCI bus not to get stuffed again by using the dodgy Vista driver.
